Blockchain Events & Workshops

Join us for hands-on sessions where we break down complex blockchain concepts into practical knowledge you can actually use. Our Taiwan-based events bring together business owners, developers, and curious minds who want real answers—not just buzzwords.

We've been running these gatherings since 2023, and honestly, they've become less about us talking and more about genuine conversations. People show up with specific questions about their businesses, and we work through solutions together.

Meet the People Behind Our Events

Our team doesn't just teach blockchain—they've built systems, solved integration nightmares, and helped businesses figure out if blockchain even makes sense for them. Here are three of the folks you'll likely meet at our workshops.

Linnea Vinter speaking at blockchain workshop

Linnea Vinter

Integration Specialist

Linnea spent five years working with supply chain companies before joining us. She's the person who can explain smart contracts without making your eyes glaze over. Her workshops focus on real implementation challenges—the stuff documentation never mentions.

Saskia Toivonen leading technical discussion

Saskia Toivonen

Technical Consultant

Before blockchain, Saskia worked in database architecture. She brings that practical database thinking to distributed ledger conversations. If you're wondering whether blockchain is overkill for your project, she'll give you an honest answer.

Briallan Kerenza reviewing blockchain code

Briallan Kerenza

Development Lead

Briallan writes the code that makes blockchain projects actually work. Her sessions get technical—expect to see actual code samples and debugging sessions. She's particularly good at explaining why certain approaches fail in production environments.

What Happens at Our Events

Most of our workshops run about three hours. We usually start with coffee and informal chat—it helps us understand what people are actually trying to solve.

Then we dive into a specific topic. Maybe it's setting up a private blockchain network, or understanding transaction costs, or figuring out data migration strategies. We work through real examples, often using scenarios that attendees bring with them.

The last hour tends to be the most valuable. That's when specific questions come up, and we can troubleshoot individual challenges. We've had sessions run long because people were deep into solving something interesting.

Our next series starts in September 2025 in Keelung. We're planning monthly sessions through early 2026, each focusing on different aspects of blockchain integration.

Common Topics We Cover

These are the areas people ask about most. Each workshop focuses on one topic, but the conversations often branch into related areas based on what attendees need to know.

Most blockchain introductions either oversimplify everything or drown you in technical jargon. We take a different approach—starting with what you already know about databases and building from there.

You'll understand the fundamental differences between traditional and distributed systems, but more importantly, you'll learn when those differences actually matter for your business. We spend time on the limitations too, because understanding what blockchain can't do is just as important as knowing what it can.

The tutorials show you how to set up a blockchain network. What they don't show is how to connect it to your existing inventory system, or how to handle the inevitable data format mismatches, or what happens when your blockchain node goes down at 2am.

These workshops cover the messy reality of integration work. We look at actual failed implementations and figure out what went wrong. Often, the problems aren't technical—they're about unclear requirements or mismatched expectations between teams.

Transaction costs on public blockchains can surprise you. Processing speeds might not match what your application needs. Storage limitations can force architectural changes you didn't plan for.

We work through real cost calculations and performance testing scenarios. You'll learn how to estimate operational costs before committing to a blockchain approach, and how to identify performance bottlenecks early enough to address them.

Yes, blockchain offers certain security advantages. But it also introduces new vulnerabilities. Smart contract bugs have cost companies millions. Key management becomes critical when you can't just reset a password.

These sessions focus on practical security measures—the kind that actually protect your implementation. We examine real security incidents and break down what went wrong, then build defenses that address those specific weaknesses.

Want to Join Our Next Workshop?

We keep groups small—usually 12-15 people—so everyone can participate meaningfully. If you're considering blockchain for your business or just want to understand it better, get in touch and we'll let you know about upcoming sessions.
